Jennifer Glass, President | Principal

Jennifer Glass is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. Ms. Glass is an NCIDQ© certified Interior Designer with 17 years of experience in the interior design profession, and has been with Interior Design Associates, Inc. since 1999. Her work at IDA encompasses senior living projects, luxury condominium towers, country clubs, and golf clubs.  Jen’s primary responsibilities at IDA include oversight of all finish and furniture specification, budget development, renovation assessment, coordination of interior contract documents, business development, and management of staff. Her involvement continues throughout the projects, working with architects and contractors to ensure the design is correctly implemented.

Lori Leinard, Senior Vice President | Principal

Lori Leinard is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. Ms. Leinard is a NCIDQ© certified Interior Designer.She has 19 years of experience in the interior design profession and has been with Interior Design Associates, Inc. since 1997. Lori's work at IDA includes interior design contract documentation, computer drafting and detailing, and project management. Her involvement continues throughout the projects, working with the architects and contractors to ensure the design is correctly implemented.

Juan Borda, Senior Vice President | Principal

Juan Borda is a graduate of the University of the Andes in Bogota, Colombia, S.A. with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture, and of Vanderbilt University with a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering (Construction Management concentration). He has 18 years of experience in the interior design profession and has been with Interior Design Associates, Inc. since 1999.  Juan’s primary responsibilities include computer drafting and production operations, project management, and interior design contract documentation with a focus on architectural detailing. His involvement continues throughout the projects, working with the architects and contractors to ensure the design is correctly implemented.

Sara Chandler, Director of Finance | Principal

Sara Chandler is a graduate of Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. She has 35 years experience in business management and accounting and has been with Interior Design Associates, Inc. since 1986.  Sara’s primary responsibilities at IDA encompass accounts payable/receivable, payroll, taxes, liaison with accountant, and the firm's financial records.

Bonnie Manson, Founding Principal

Bonnie Manson founded Interior Design Associates, Inc. in 1981 and has since been creating beautiful, warm interiors for a high-profile national clientele. An NCIDQ© certified Interior Designer, Ms. Manson has been involved in the interior design and FF&E selections for dozens of senior living communities, luxury condominium towers, country clubs, golf clubs, yacht clubs, and hotels. She prides herself on her design team’s ability to design projects from the “bones” outward, i.e., to create remarkable ceiling, wall, casework, and flooring details which enhance the furnishings. Ms. Manson personally selects the exceptional artwork collections for each project. Her design philosophy is based on creating environments which nurture, excite, and embrace all those who inhabit them. Attention to the smallest detail is IDA’s hallmark.

Taylor Beach, Vice President of Interior Design

Taylor Beach is a graduate of O’More College of Design with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design, and she is an NCIDQ© certified interior designer. She has 15 years of experience in the interior design profession and has been with Interior Design Associates, Inc. since 2006. Taylor's work at IDA includes oversight of selection of fabrics and finishes, decorative lighting design, furniture specification, and project coordination.

Lea Sluss, Director of Operations

Lea Ann Sluss is a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Office Management. She has 25 years experience in office management and has been with Interior Design Associates, Inc. since 1996.  Lea’ primary responsibilities at IDA are the day-to-day operations of the office, benefits administration, marketing coordination, FF&E budgets, and project contracts.

Melissa Wright, Director of Procurement

Melissa Wright is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition food Sciences (minor business management). She has over 23 years experience in FF&E procurement management and has been with Interior Design Associates, Inc. since 2000. Her primary responsibilities at IDA are the procurement of an average dollar volume of over $9 million per year in furnishings and equipment. Melissa oversees the documentation of specifications, and manages all issues relating to order placement, shipping, storage, installation, and follow-up of goods.
