I wear a lot of different hats at IDA, and each one feels pretty primary to the well-being of our company. I get to do everything from marketing to prospective new clients and working with our talented designers to making presentations to our clients to watching market trends and financial forecasting. I am involved in all aspects of our operations, but on really fun days, I get to choose artwork for our communities.
My favorite part of my job is meeting with clients. There’s just something about connecting and understanding their vision and how to translate it into a project that makes me really happy.
Guilty pleasure? Vlasic Zesty Dill Pickles. I have actually asked for these for Christmas before!
Proudest achievement? Completing several half marathons. Let’s be clear — I am not an athlete, and training for and completing these was very difficult. The medals are hanging in my office.
Coolest place you’ve ever been? One year for vacation we rented a 50-foot catamaran and sailed the British Virgin Islands with friends. We captained the boat ourselves. It was like camping, but with the Caribbean as your back yard.
